 Located just 45 minutes from the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel is NASA’s launch headquarters – the only place on Earth where you can tour launch areas, meet Astronauts, see giant rockets, and experience the new state of the art Shuttle Launch simulator Experience. At Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, guest’s get the unique chance to tour NASA’s launch and landing facilities.
Begin the afternoon with a narrated drive to Kennedy Space Center where guests experience an up close and personal look at the creativity and ingenuity that has gone into creating the most famous space program in the world. The tour begins with a short security clearance followed by a 1 ½ hour guided tour of the Kennedy Space Center facility including launch pads, assembly building and the Apollo/Saturn V Visitor’s Center. After the tour, guests can view the fabulous 3-D IMAX attraction or enjoy free time to explore the Visitor’s Complex, Rocket Garden and NASA Space Shuttle replicas. - Box cutters or like items
- Nail clippers with knife blades
- Any other sharp/pointed items, including pointed scissors or nail files
- Coolers, luggage or other large bags are not permitted through the front gate
