In her role at Illinois Tool Works (ITW), Dr. Schlitz directs the worldwide operations of the ITW Technology Center, which provides advanced consulting to internal business units regarding topics such as materials, designs and processes. Prior to joining ITW in 2008, Schlitz spent seven years at Siemens Energy and Automation where she managed various research and product development groups. Before that, she worked for GE Global Research and GE Industrial Systems after starting her career at the Innovation Center for Eaton Corporation.
