Speaking Tips
A Conference Committee Volunteer will be in contact with you to answer any questions regarding the PDMA 35th Product Innovation Management Annual Global Conference, review your presentation, and help you to adapt your presentation to the PDMA audience.

Here are a few tips you may find helpful to remember before your presentation:

  • Determine the location of your session room. Take the time to familiarize yourself with the audiovisual equipment and review your session objectives.
  • Display the name of the presentation and your name on the beginning slide so attendees can verify that they are in the right session.
  • Keep track of the time.
  • Hold all questions until the end of the presentation. Inform attendees of this at the beginning of the presentation. It is always a good idea to repeat each question from the audience before answering so all the attendees can benefit from Q&A.
  • Remind the attendees to complete the session evaluation with a reminder slide at the end of your presentation.
